Step 1: Set Your Intention
Before you begin drawing, decide what you would like to create more
of in your life. Keep your intention positive and focused on what you
want to experience.
Examples:
-
I trust myself.
-
I welcome peace into my life.
-
I am becoming more confident.
-
I choose joy and connection.
-
I am open to new opportunities.
Write your intention at the top or back of your paper.
Ask yourself: "What thought, feeling, or belief do I want to strengthen?"
Step 2: Turn On High-Vibe Content
Before you start drawing, intentionally choose the sights, sounds, and
messages you want your mind to absorb.
Our brains are constantly taking in information, and when we relax,
create, and focus, we become more receptive to new ideas and
perspectives. Choose content that aligns with the intention you are
trying to cultivate.
You might:
-
Play calming music or nature sounds.
-
Listen to positive affirmations.
-
Light a candle or diffuse essential oils.
-
Look at inspiring images.
-
Repeat your intention quietly to yourself.
-
Visualize yourself already embodying the feeling you want to create.
Ask yourself:
"What energy am I inviting into this moment?"
Step 3: Take Three Deep Breaths
Close your eyes and take three slow breaths.
As you inhale, imagine drawing in the energy of your intention.
As you exhale, imagine releasing stress, doubt, and old patterns.
Silently repeat:
"I am open to creating new possibilities."
Step 4: Begin Drawing
Place your pen anywhere on the paper and begin drawing one continuous line. Let it curve, loop, and flow naturally across the page.
There is no right or wrong way to do this. Simply trust the process and allow your creativity to guide you.
Step 5: Draw One Free-Flowing Line
Place your pen anywhere on the paper.
Begin drawing one long line that moves freely across the page.
Let the line curve, loop, cross over itself, change direction, and travel wherever it wants to go.
Try not to plan it.
Imagine the line representing your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and the path you are currently walking. There is no wrong way to draw it.
Step 6: Soften the Intersections
Look for places where two lines cross and create sharp corners.
Begin rounding those corners with your pen.
Instead of leaving a sharp intersection, gently curve and soften the area until the lines appear to flow into one another.
Step 7: Optional Add Supportive Shapes and Colors
Add circles, spirals, leaves, hearts, waves, stars, or any simple shapes that feel connected to your intention.
A circle may represent wholeness, a spiral may represent growth, a heart may represent love or compassion, a star may represent hope or direction.
There are no required symbols. Choose what feels meaningful to you as well as choose colors that represent the feeling of your intention.
Remember
Neuro art is not about creating a perfect picture. It is about creating space for awareness, imagination, emotional expression, and intentional change.
The artwork does not do the work for you. It becomes a visual anchor that reminds you of the thoughts, feelings, choices, and behaviors you want to practice.
Small repeated actions help new patterns become more familiar.
It is all about the process - Lori Marie www.Divine24.org
